Your new school
Kingsway Park High School is a young school (9 years old) It has outstanding high quality facilities and resources. The school is a forward thinking and reflective learning community which ‘successfully brings together pupils from a wide range of backgrounds, races and cultures’ (Ofsted 2017).

Your new role
As a new member of the team, you will be joining a large, successful and well-respected English department. You will have a significant role supporting the strategic vision and direction of the Head of English as well as offering coaching to colleagues within the team.
There are two second in English posts within the English Department. The actual areas of responsibility for this post will be negotiated with the successful candidate dependent on their areas of strength/expertise.
What you’ll need to succeed
Applications are welcomed from experienced, self driven English teachers with a proven track record of successful teaching and a passion for your subject. You need to have shown a track record of leading on an aspect of the English Curriculum.
It is extremely important that all staff members have high expectations of themselves and the students they teach, and share our ethos that every student is valued.
