Your new school

Your new role

As a new member of the team, you will be joining a large, successful and well-respected English department.  You will have a significant role supporting the strategic vision and direction of the Head of English as well as offering coaching to colleagues within the team.

There are two second in English posts within the English Department.  The actual areas of responsibility for this post will be negotiated with the successful candidate dependent on their areas of strength/expertise.

What you’ll need to succeed

Applications are welcomed from experienced, self driven English teachers with a proven track record of successful teaching and a passion for your subject.  You need to have shown a track record of leading on an aspect of the English Curriculum.

It is extremely important that all staff members have high expectations of themselves and the students they teach, and share our ethos that every student is valued.

Kingsway Park High School was established in 2010 and joined the Altus Education Partnership in February 2022. We are now a very popular oversubscribed school in central Rochdale with 1350 students in Years 7-11 and 190 staff.
