Following our recent Ofsted inspection in November 2017, we were shown to be “Good”, a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students.

We are a forward thinking school, always looking for areas to develop and improve as well as being very open to new ideas; we feel this is the best way to ensure consistent development and attainment of our students

Values and vision

Stockland Green School expects all its pupils to set high standards and expectations for themselves. The secondary school has an all-inclusive ethos and its motto is "aspire, believe, achieve". Children are challenged to aspire to be the best they can be; they are encouraged to believe that they can achieve anything if they work hard. Teachers aim to ensure that pupils leave Stockland Green School as confident, skilled and moral citizens.

Ofsted report

“Senior leaders monitor students’ progress effectively and intervene quickly should any student underperform. In English, students achieve exceptionally well because this subject is taught consistently well. The Arthur Terry Multi Academy trust has delivered effective teachers’ professional development, and this underpins the improvements in teaching quality. The school is vigilant in ensuring students are safe. It takes great care to protect students from radicalisation or sexual exploitation. Disabled students and those who have special educational needs achieve well.”
