Job overview
We wish to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to act as Second in Maths to join a thriving department which achieves excellent examination results. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach enjoyable and challenging lessons up to A Level. The ability to teach A Level Further Maths would be preferred, but not essential.

Redborne is a successful school on a spacious and pleasant campus near the market town of Ampthill in Bedfordshire .We achieve excellent examination results with about three-quarters of students typically gaining Maths and English at grades 9 - 4. ‘A’ Level results are also very good with over half at ‘A*’, ‘A’ or ‘B’ grades and an overall pass rate of 99.9%. About 80% of the Sixth Form go on to university and each year a number of students get into Oxbridge. The school is well regarded and oversubscribed situated in a very pleasant area of Central Bedfordshire, within easy reach of London. The campus includes a state-of-the-art 400 seat theatre and we have plans for further expansion to take the school to a capacity of 1,750, with 500+ in the sixth form. Redborne is also a National College Support School, a Leading Edge School and has Teaching School Status.
