We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Second in Maths. The area of responsibility can be tailored to match the experience of the successful candidate and could include leading Key Stage 5 Maths. Kings is an exceptional Academy that provides a world class education for all students. We have one of the top performing Maths departments in the region. 86.4% of pupils achieved a standard pass in Maths and 61.3% achieved a good pass in Maths in 2018. Maths and Further Maths are very popular A-level options.

About The Kings of Wessex Academy

The Kings of Wessex Academy is a mixed, Church of England academy secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 13-18, located in Cheddar, Somerset. It was founded in 1976, and was formerly known as The Kings of Wessex School before converting to an academy in 2011. The school has approximately 1,200 pupils.

Kings of Wessex is part of the Wessex Learning Trust, a group of eight academies in the Cheddar Valley.
