Position: Second in Maths
Location: Derby Cathedral School, Derby
Experience: Successful experience teaching the relevant subject at KS 3 & 4 and positive, sustained impact on students' achievement through your own teaching and through supporting others.

Role Overview:
As Second in Maths department, you will support the Head of Department in leading and managing the maths curriculum, contributing to teaching excellence and student achievement. You will play a key role in driving progress across all year groups while fostering a positive learning environment.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Organisational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take on leadership responsibilities
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) or equivalent is desirable but not essential
