Wolsingham School is located approximately 15 minutes drive west of Durham. The School is set in extensive grounds having benefiting from a new building in April 2016, the Maths Faculty enjoy their own purpose built suite of classrooms. 

Wolsingham School is seeking to appoint a dynamic and determined leader to undertake this key role at this very exciting time in the school’s development. In addition to leading as Second in the Maths Faculty (Progress Co-ordinator in Maths with a TLR 2a, £2640) there is a separate TLR 3 (£2525) attached to the post until 31st August 2018 for the development of KS3 Assessment, specifically to support across the whole school with the delivery of our new KS3 assessment without levels programme. 

This posts offers a fantastic opportunity to lead both on a faculty and whole school level. We welcome applications from established leaders with a proven track record, or equally from ambitious main scale teachers looking for a new challenge, who feel that they have the passion, drive and determination to develop their leadership skills in order to make a significant impact on the learning of our young people. A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and people management skills you will have integrity and the ability to work both independently and in a team to build upon the success of our Maths Faculty.
