We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly effective second in department to support the Head of Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspiring subject specialist, to lead on identified roles within the department; the successful applicant will be responsible for leading and teaching maths across all key stages and must be prepared to teach GCSE.

You will be an excellent teacher with leadership experience and the ability to challenge individuals whilst supporting them to achieve outstanding results.  

You will be joining a highly innovative, inspirational and ambitious organisation, so we are seeking only outstanding candidates who can realise the highest possible quality of services to support our educational vision. Your strong leadership and ability to provide effective support to colleagues will enable the organisation to achieve the best possible outcomes for all of our students.

The Academy benefits from being part of the Outwood Family of Schools, which affords opportunities for staff to work and progress across several schools if desired. All staff are guaranteed a minimum of two hours CPD per week and a further comprehensive programme of professional development is provided through our own network of teaching schools.
