Salary: MPR/UPR (FTE: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum) + TLR2a (£3,391 per annum)
Start date: 01 September 2025
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding second in department to support our expanding KS4 and KS5 offer. We are looking for an exceptional teacher of maths to work within our established and committed department. You will be joining the department at an exciting time as we look to build on the success of our A-Level results in our growing sixth form in addition to offering further maths qualifications at GSCE.

Our School
Felixstowe School opened in September 2011, is located in an impressive 21st century education centre – a centre the whole community can be proud of. The building itself opened in April 2014, and provide impressive teaching premises.
With these fantastic resources, the school currently delivers education to over 1200 students, with approximately 150 in the school's sixth form.
We offer 21st century resources which serve to deliver a diverse range of exciting and challenging courses to our students across all Key Stages. We have a suite of well equipped ICT suites, along with a number of Chromebook trolleys as bookable resources to aid learning. We are pleased our students are at the forefront of the progression of technology in the classroom.
The school has an excellent range of purpose built sport facilities; this includes two sports halls, County and Sport England standard netball courts, an all weather pitch, tennis courts and vast open grounds that cater for Football, Rugby, Cricket and Athletics.
Within the Arts, our music suite offers up to date facilities for music composition, performance and recording, whilst our Performance and Production Arts students benefit from two large performance areas alongside a well-equipped 440 seat Main Hall.
With the best Science resources, Art and Photography studios, Technology rooms, AV Media Studio, Computing suites, alongside classroom and teaching resources in place for the next generation of students, we believe in partnership with parents and carers we will enable all students to receive an excellent education.

Felixstowe is an Edwardian seaside town the River Orwell and River Deben on the North Sea coast of Suffolk, England. The Port of Felixstowe is the largest container port in the United Kingdom.
