Rodborough School is seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and creative teacher of Maths to join the leadership of our Mathematics Department. 

Candidates will be excellent classroom practitioners and will have a track record of success when it comes to the teaching of Maths. They will have a clear understanding of what makes a successful Maths department and will realise the importance of effective collaboration.  They should also be able to demonstrate that they have the vision and energy for promotion to Subject Leader and beyond.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Department to lead the team towards outstanding outcomes.

Outcomes for students in mathematics at Rodborough are consistently strong with over 80% of students at GCSE gaining a grade 4 or above at GCSE. This post offers an opportunity to gain a wide range of experience and expertise in an organised and supportive department that has a reputation for making maths enjoyable for its pupils. We have high expectations of our pupils and they expect to work hard in maths.  

Rodborough is a very successful, popular, oversubscribed 11-16 school near Godalming, Surrey.  It has an excellent reputation for providing a broad and rounded education whilst challenging all students to achieve their best.  At Rodborough we are committed to the development of our teachers through an extensive programme of internal CPD.
