Your Role – What You’ll Be Doing

You will lead the Science department across Key Stages 3 and 4, driving excellence in curriculum, teaching and student achievement. You will:

●       Teach outstanding Science lessons to students aged 11–16

●       Support curriculum design, sequencing and delivery across Biology, Chemistry and Physics

●       Lead on specific projects such as assessment, interventions, or teaching quality

●       Model excellent practice and mentor colleagues and/or trainee teachers

●       Analyse data and contribute to raising achievement across the department

●       Support with departmental quality assurance and staff development

●       Drive student engagement through enrichment, STEM and careers

●       Deputise for the Head of Science when required
