Harrow Appi is seeking to appoint an outstanding leader to the role of Second Master from January 2024. Harrow Appi offers an exceptional educational experience in a stunning natural setting. Located in the breathtaking Appi Kogen mountain resort, the impressive campus is surrounded by pristine forests, sparkling lakes and majestic mountains. Having opened in August 2022, Harrow Appi is the newest in Harrow’s family of international schools, catering for students between the ages of 11 and 16 (years 7 to 11) currently and expanding into sixth form in the summer of 2024. Whilst the curriculum is delivered in English, all students have the opportunity to master two additional languages from; Japanese, Chinese and French. Students enjoy two distinct co-curricular seasons with an exciting array of extracurricular activities for the “white” and “green” seasons. The white season focuses on snow sports while the green season gives extended access to the great outdoors, focused on sports academies for golf, tennis and cycling.

Reporting to the Founding Head Master, the successful candidate will manage the academic programme at Harrow Appi with vision, energy and positivity. The successful candidate will be passionate about combining discipline and accuracy with the freedom to think, innovate and explore, both within and outside the classroom.
