St. George’s School seeks a well-qualified professional to teach Economics and Business in our flourishing secondary department, to start in April or August 2020.
Serving the international community in Duisburg-Düsseldorf for over 15 years, St. George’s School combines an enriching curriculum with family orientated care. The National Curriculum is taught throughout the school, and we offer the IB Diploma in our Sixth Form.

We are seeking to appoint a qualified teacher of Economics and Business to work in our well-established Humanities department.
The successful applicant will be a dynamic teacher with experience of enabling pupils to achieve their potential. We are looking for the right balance between experience, enthusiasm and a passion for teaching which will inspire our pupils.
Given the growing and developing nature of the school, flexibility and the desire to support other team members is a essential. A strong desire to contribute to the rich pastoral and extra-curricular life of the school will also be an advantage.
The Humanities Faculty promotes an enthusiasm for the study of the human activity and an awareness of the importance of analysis, interpretation and evaluation. Pupils come from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, and we aim to build upon diversity to explore different ways of interpreting the world.
