Secondary English Language and Literature Teacher with Drama Experience
The English department is dynamic and forward thinking with a strong team ethos. You will be joining a small group of dedicated professionals who work closely with one another to resource and deliver an engaging curriculum. Our Key Stage 3 Curriculum is based upon the British National Curriculum, with IGCSE Language & Literature delivered at Key Stage 4 and a healthy uptake of A Level English Literature in Key Stage 5. We have a strong focus on developing strong communicative and analytical skills and have recently introduced the ‘Let’s Think In English’ programme. In Drama you will benefit from the Juilliard - Nord Anglia Performing Arts Programme which provides inspiring CPD from visiting Juilliard tutors, innovative curriculum planning and pupil centered resources. You will be part of a new and energetic team in its formative stage and your valuable contribution will help shape the future of Creative Arts at BVIS. Is passionate about English and has a creative and flexible approach to teaching both Literature and Language at KS3, KS4 & KS5.
Has experience of teaching Drama and is able to motivate and engage our students in a creative way.
Will support, challenge and engage a diverse cohort of students, enriching their learning experience, maximising their potential and raising attainment.
