Compass International School Doha opened in 2006 and has grown to 3 campuses in the capital city of the State of Qatar.  The school provides premium education for expat and local families looking for a British, international curriculum. Compass International School Doha caters for students from 3 to 18 in specialist Early Years, Primary and Secondary schools, with IGCSE and IB Diploma programmes in Years 11 and 13 respectively.

About the role

Join our fast-paced international environment, and you will deliver UK National Curriculum and IGSCE or International Baccalaureate programmes. You will challenge your students to set ambitious targets for themselves and seek out and implement innovative teaching practices to enhance the student experience and outcomes. 

About you

Able to create a classroom culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved, you will have a degree in your specialist subject, a teaching qualification plus considerable teaching experience and knowledge of the curriculum. Receptive to feedback and ready to embrace change, you will be keen to share best practice with colleagues and peers.

A strong ambassador for the school, you will be able to develop new ways to engage students and parents with the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community. Your strong motivation and communication skills will also enable you to create a feeling of energy, excitement and personal investment within the classroom. All candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and qualified teacher status or equivalent.

Selection Process

The closing date for application is 20 December 2018. First stage interviews will be conducted by Skype or telephone and final interviews will take place at the Nord Anglia Education Recruitment Event in central London in the week commencing 21 January 2019.
