Secondary English Teacher / Graduate English Teacher - Brent

Smart Teachers welcomes overseas trained teachers to consider an exciting opportunity to relocate to the UK and take up an English Teacher position at an all girls’ Catholic school in the London borough of Brent. The English Teacher role will be teaching English classes from Years 7-12 a 'Good' school where pupils achieve high levels of academic success. The school is a very popular choice for children’s secondary education within the local community. The successful English Teacher will benefit from being part of an extremely supportive team and able to access regular PD. This full time English Teacher role is to teach up to senior school on a long term basis from September 2019 till July 2020 in the first instance.

• Daily rate between $274.00 - $347.00 AUD (depending on experience)

In order to be considered for this role, the English Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor of Education / Post Graduate Diploma of Education / or equivalent teaching degree with current teacher registration
• Proven experience teaching English Years 11-12 within the UK curriculum, or equivalent
• Graduate Teachers and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
