Secondary English Teacher

The Royal Grammar School Guildford in Qatar (RGSGQ) opened in September 2016 with the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. Based on the same principles as RGS Guildford, UK, RGSGQ has quickly gained a reputation for providing outstanding education and enrolment has increased across the school. RGSGQ currently educates girls and boys from Nursery to Year 10 on an attractive campus 10 minutes’ drive north of central Doha. Having established an excellent team of staff and outstanding facilities the school has opened to Year 10 in August 2020.

We are looking for teachers of English with experience of GCSE/IGCSE who are comfortable teaching from Year 7 to Year 11. A level experience would be a bonus, but the school will not operate a Sixth Form for a further two years.

In addition to teachers of English Language and Literature, we are looking for a teacher with experience of teaching GCSE/IGCSE English as a Second/Additional Language, who would teach this alongside First Language English.
