Amity International School is a fast-growing successful and ambitious school set in a modern 15 acre campus on the coast of Abu Dhabi. Founded in 2015, the school has a total population of over 1,200 pupils and will eventually cater for the full age range from 3 to 18 years.
The Secondary School, which opened in September 2017, will be have classes running up to Year 10 from September 2019 offering a range of subjects at GCSE.

The school seeks a Head of Physics who is capable of leading the foundation of the department and taking its first set of GCSE students through to success. The candidate should have the ability and determination to attain and maintain very high standards and keep pupils at the centre of all they do. You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to inspire pupils and communicate knowledge. All academic staff are expected to conduct themselves with enthusiasm and a commitment to the highest of academic and pastoral standards. You should also be prepared and excited to contribute to the wider life of the school including the School’s pastoral and co-curricular activities.
