St George’s College North is a co-educational private school with sixth form situated in the district of Los Polvorines in Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. It educates 600 students between the ages of 2-18, with a teacher to student ratio of 1:7. The school offers the PYP and Diploma Programmes of the International Baccalaureate (IB) as well as awarding IGCSEs. It offers a bilingual education, but despite the majority of students being Argentine, the majority of classes are taught in English.

The school was inaugurated in March 1990, created as a sister school to St George’s College Quilmes, another leading school in Buenos Aires founded in 1898. It only catered for kindergarten and primary levels at first, but this would later expand to secondary and sixth form that it teaches today. As one of the pioneers of IB in Argentina and one of the first to implement all three of its programmes, the school has been praised for its academic achievement. Perhaps particularly significant was in 2015, when one student was awarded a 43 grade in their IB, the highest marks in Argentinian history!
