We are now seeking to recruit the ESL Teacher for the school year 2024-2025.
Job Description:
The ESL Teacher is responsible to carry forward the English Programme at SISA. The role of ESL Teacher, would suit an experienced educator who can support students to develop their language skills and fulfill their examinational requirement. The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate and maintain a sound knowledge of the subject and language test requirements, including but not limited to IELST, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo.
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons, assign assessments are sufficient to track students' progress
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students
- Support students in preparing their university application materials, including but not limited to Personal Statement, Reference Letter, Portfolio Descriptions
- Initiate, support and promote cross-curricular and cross-disciplinary collaborations.
- Cooperate fully and professionally in school activities.
Requirement:
- Proficient level English speaker, capable of delivering the programme entirely in English
- Bachelor Degree (or higher) in English Language, Education or related fields
- Holds PGCE or other ESL teaching certificates
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ideal candidate should demonstrate strong team spirit, solid professional knowledge, as well as great enthusiasm for English education
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, experience in ESL for Secondary/High School is preferred
- Only candidates under 58 years old would be eligible for visa purpose
