The opportunity
We are currently seeking to appoint a Secondary Learning Support Assistant to join our team as soon as possible.

The post holder will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to the child, responding to their personal needs and ensuring that the child is able to access all learning activities. The Learning Support Assistant will be required to establish a constructive relationship with the child where he/she is encouraged to interact with others and engage in classroom activities and set challenging and demanding expectations that promote self-esteem and independence.

About you
The ideal candidate would have some experience working with children ; have an understanding of how to provide support to SEND pupils to achieve the very best outcomes; some experience of working in an educational setting and above all, a supportive and sensitive approach to children with specific needs.
We are a British international school and all of our lessons are taught in English, therefore a high standard of written and spoken English is essential for all positions.
