Job overview

Hastings School Madrid

1300 students⎮ 50 nationalities ⎮ 6 sites ⎮ 1 school

Founded in 1971 and opened as a family-oriented British School, it was one of the first of its kind in Madrid. Today, it is based on six sites, in central Madrid and has over 1300 pupils.

Hastings School follows the National Curriculum for England. At Primary we follow a creative, topic curriculum based on stories from all over the world. At Secondary level pupils prepare for IGCSE, AS and A Level examinations. Most pupils go to either British or Spanish universities.

The exact nature of the role will be adapted to the profile and background of the successful candidate. This is an unusual but exciting role in that it involves some class teaching (probably Key Stage 3) but also offering a lot of individual and small group support. The person will work closely with the Head of Learning Support and the Assistant Head of Mathematics. The candidate should be confident to support Mathematics up to IGCSE level.

Please see information pack below for further details and visit the website to learn more about our school.
