Job overview

We are seeking to recruit a qualified Maths teacher to teach Maths from Year 7 to Year 10. Successful candidates should be native English speakers and willing to take part in the ongoing development of this newly established secondary school. Candidates should be located within easy reach of Compiègne (60200) 

Preferred Qualifications and Personal Skills

  • Fully qualified secondary teacher (PGCE-B. Ed or equivalent) 
  • Experience of teaching Cambridge/Pearson IGCSE and A-Levels
  • Commitment to holistic, student-centred and inquiry-based learning
  • Creativity, positive attitude and well-developed communication skills
  • A strong team player, willing to involve him/herself in the school’s life
  • Excellent classroom practices 
  • Experienced and comfortable teaching in a cross-cultural environment
  • Confident in the ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best
  • Ability to teach across a range of levels
  • Valid working papers to work in France
  • The position includes ESL and First Language classes
  • Teaching ICT is a plus.
  • French knowledge is a plus
