Secondary Music Teacher

Greenfield Community School is a four programme International Baccalaureate World School. Situated in the Green Community in Dubai the school has an enrolment of 1300 students from KG to Grade 12. Greenfield Community School is a culturally diverse school with over 80 nationalities. English is our language of instruction. Sitting near the site of Expo 2020 the school is looking forward to an exciting time of growth and development. 

GCS seeks an outstanding and inspirational educator to become a member of our Music teaching team. Music is one of the school’s core subjects and currently is taught at MYP, though we aspire to also offer the DP course. Music and performance are a vibrant part of our school community and we are lucky to have many talented students and staff. Annual events like School Shows, International Day and Winter Picnic bring both the school and wider community together and music and performance is central to this. We are very keen to further extend this as well as further develop our variety of school bands and groups.  

Teachers at the school have the opportunity to work with inspirational children in a truly international school. We are looking for teachers who not only inspire students, but also are passionate about working collaboratively with the rest of the team and the wider school community.  Whereas experience of the IB is not essential the successful candidate will be inspired by its vision, as we offer appropriate training for the right candidate. The potential to teach a second subject would be an advantage.  

What do we look for?

Due to KHDA regulations, we require our teachers to have one of the following:

· Bachelors of Education or PGCE and a degree in the subject area that you teach
