Secondary Music Teacher (Maternity cover)

As an established, non for profit and well-regarded international school in a sought after location, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic teacher of Music (maternity cover) to join our inspirational, committed and successful teaching team.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic, passionate Music practitioner with a sound understanding of the theory of music and the ability to help and support students in realising their performance and compositional potential. Good working knowledge of latest UK practice, either in the UK or UK education overseas, and the ability to also teach primary, would be advantageous but not essential. 

You must be passionate, committed and well-organised with qualified teacher status and a degree in a relevant subject.

A commitment to active learning in the classroom, with a willingness to participate fully in all aspects of school life within and beyond the classroom, is a prerequisite. A commitment to providing high levels of pastoral care for students is essential.

The school is well-resourced, and full support with induction and continuing professional development is provided.
