Secondary PE Teacher (female teaching focus) - teaching to A Level

Due to the continued growth of Lanna International Schools, we are seeking to appoint a full time creative, inspirational, experienced and dedicated Teacher of Girls' PE to join our Secondary team for the 2022-23 academic year.

Any successful applicant must actively support Lanna’s vision and mission supporting the academic, social and emotional well-being of our students. They will develop supportive and positive relationships with all members of the Lanna community and demonstrate effective and innovative teaching strategies in line with the school’s beliefs around pedagogy. They must have the ability to collaborate with colleagues in the planning process to develop stimulating and rich learning engagements within our curriculum and understand and utilise formative assessment practices.

The successful applicant must be an outstanding PE teacher who is passionate about developing the whole child, be up to date with curriculum developments and new initiatives promoting teaching and learning, and be unrelenting in their belief of the potential of children. Applicants must be a fluent English speaker.

The position requires contribution to the school’s extra-curricular activities programmes and participation in continued professional development activities to extend current knowledge and practice. Furthermore, they must be willing to add capacity to the team through the sharing of ideas, practice and expertise. Experience in the Cambridge Curriculum programme/ International IGCSE/A-Level Curriculum/National Curriculum of England and Wales is preferred.
