Warwick Academy is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and an accredited Council of International Schools (CIS) member school catering to students from Reception Year through to Year 13. The school offers an Early Years Programme, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and UK National Curriculum from Years 1 to 9, the IGCSE in Year 10 & 11 and the IB Diploma Programme, IB Individual Subjects and IB Career-related Programme (using BTEC subjects) in Year 12 & 13. In addition, the school has vibrant Music, Drama, Sport, and Community Service programmes and offers a variety of additional co-curriculars.


Secondary Teacher of Psychology and Humanities

Due to the growth in the subject, an experienced Secondary school teacher is required to teach Psychology to the International Baccalaureate Higher & Standard levels, and Humanities subjects across several year groups. IB or A Level Psychology teaching experience is required.


Applicants should have at least 2 years’ teaching experience in the required subjects, hold an undergraduate degree preferably aligned with the subject they will be teaching, a professional teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) at the Secondary (Middle/High) school level, and be able to show recent teaching experience in the educational programmes applicable to the post (UK National Curriculum, I/GCSE, International Baccalaureate or A Level). Applicants must be able to relate positively to students, staff and parents with proven external examination success being an essential component. They must also be prepared to contribute to the school’s pastoral and co-curricular programmes.

Warwick Academy, Bermuda is a thriving independent, selective, co-educational International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and an accredited CIS School catering to students from Reception Year through to Year 13 (ages 4-18). The school offers an Early Years programme (IEYC) in the Reception Year, a fusion of the UK National Curriculum and IPC from Year 1 to Year 9, IGCSE/GCSE examinations in Year 11 and the IB Diploma Programme (DP), IB Career-related Programme (CP) using BTEC subjects and the IB Individual Subjects in the Sixth Form.
