École Jeannine Manuel, which opened in London in September 2015, as sister school to an already established bilingual school in France, is now recruiting a Secondary Science Teacher to start in August 2022.
The successful candidate must be a native level English speaker, as teaching will be in English, and must be able to teach all sciences up to year 10, specialising in Chemistry thereafter.
We are looking for teachers who can transmit their own energy and love of learning to all their students.
Experience teaching the International Baccalaureate would be a significant advantage.
Ecole Jeannine Manuel welcomes applications from candidates with skills and interests outside of their subject area, as we are always looking for new ways to enrich our pupils’ experience. Candidates with such profiles are encouraged to highlight their other skills in their application.
Our teachers in Paris, and those in London, are part of a team researching and developing new ways of teaching, whether it is for first or second language, mathematics, science or history. Jeannine Manuel, who founded the Paris school, always put children at the centre of her project to develop international understanding, and her vision continues to inspire.
In addition to competitive salaries and pay progression, Ecole Jeannine Manuel UK offers a generous benefits package which includes:
- Access to extensive professional development opportunities
- Access to a Private Medical Insurance (80% cost cover by the School)
- Generous pension schemes
- Free Income Protection and Life Cover
- Travel Card Loan
- Access to Gym Membership (the School cover 80% of the Gym Membership)
- Tech Scheme and Cycle Scheme
Bursaries are available for the children of teachers employed by the School.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. A DBS Disclosure is required to Enhanced level.
