Are you an inspirational  geography  teacher looking for a new challenge in a growing and vibrant international school?   The British  School Yangon is looking to appoint an outstanding  classroom teacher  to join our team in August 2020. 

The position of Head of Humanities is also open to suitably experienced and well- qualified  or aspiring middle leaders; more details available  upon request.

As a teacher of geography you will pland and deliver the geography curriculum from KS3 to KS5,   A passionate geographer, your high expectations will set the standard for students, inspiring them to achieve and to engage with the world around them through the study of human and physical geography.   You will work within the Humanities team which currently includes: history, geography, business studies, global perspectives  and economics.

Keen to join a growing school and build a great team, your energy and love of learning, social sciences, and the world, will be apparent to colleagues and students alike.  An ambassador for the humanities, you will also work closely with students through such activities as the Eco-Club, Model United Nations (MUN) and the Duke of Edinburgh International Award (DoEIA). 

As part of a busy international school, you will be happy to contribute to the wider life of the school, offering  After School Clubs, and enrichment activities to support curriculum delivery.
