Job overview

Background

The Singapore International School (Hong Kong) offers a through-train programme with a bilingual (English and Chinese) education from preparatory years to pre-university levels. It is the only school that is supported by the Ministry of Education (Singapore). The school consists of staff which are recruited locally and abroad, as well as a group of Singapore-trained teachers who are seconded from the Ministry of Education. Consisting of 470 students from more than 20 nationalities, students are schooled in a Singapore-styled education which emphasises on bilingual education, academic rigor in a broad base of subjects and disciplines and character-based values education. We offer a school-based curriculum from Preparatory Years Programme (aged 4) to Secondary Two (age 14), followed by a two-year IGCSE programme from Secondary Three to Four, and a two-year IB Diploma Programme.
