The Role:

We are seeking an exceptional, qualified teacher, who is able to teach Computer Science to IGCSE and A Level. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, who can develop strong relationships with colleagues, students, and parents. Amongst other things, we are looking for an individual who is well organised, has a good sense of humour and wants to participate fully in the wider life of the school. You will be responsible for contributing to all aspects of teaching and learning in your department, and for encouraging a culture of inspiration, enjoyment, and success in your classroom. Our teachers enjoy collaboration therefore, good interpersonal skills and enjoyment of teamwork are essential.

A Technology Integration Manager is also required who, along with reduced teaching responsibilities, will oversee the school's ICT infrastructure, ensuring efficient and effective technology implementation. They develop and implement administrative protocols, maintain a robust and usable network, integrate educational hardware, and promote technology integration among staff and students for optimal utilisation. For example specific task may include:

• Manage ICT resources, budget, and expenses, reporting to the Director.
• Plan and implement policies for appropriate use of technology among staff and students, promoting integration into teaching and learning.
• Lead the development of a clear and achievable school IT vision and strategic plan.
• Manage and develop the IT systems to meet evolving school needs.
• Stay updated on modern IT services, cloud utilisation, and industry standards.
• Control the IT budget and provide repair and maintenance estimates.
• Participate in regional IT meetings and projects.
• Collaborate with the network administrator to facilitate regular maintenance, resolve hardware/software failures, and implement housekeeping tasks.
• Provide training and support to staff and students on technology integration initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend educational software and tools to enhance teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with teachers and instructional staff to develop technology-rich curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Conduct technology needs assessments and make recommendations for future technology investments.
