Secondary Teacher of Mathematics

(full-time; initially limited for 2 years)

Your profile & your tasks 

  • you are a qualified secondary teacher who holds a Bachelor or a Master’s degree, a Certificate of Education and a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) 
  • your focus should be on the subjects of mathematics 
  • you have a passion to teach secondary students in mathematics according to the curriculum 
  • additional knowledge in computer science is a strong asset (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Lego Mindstorms);
  • Phorms Frankfurt is a STEM-focused school; you will be part of a strong team of dedicated STEM teachers, offering a broad variety of extracurricular activities and support for science projects.
  • you are dedicated to enabling all students to achieve their potential 
  • you can identify with our pedagogical concept and are motivated to implement it creatively together in a team 
  •  you have an interest in learning German and being a part of the German culture and community 
  • you can speak and teach in English at a high level

You must meet the following requirements for a visa or working permit:

  • A degree where the title includes subject taught.
  • M. Ed, UK Qualified Teacher Status, Government approved teaching certification from non-UK country or similar teaching qualification.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Should hold a valid passport from either Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom or United States.
