BERMUDA TEACHING POSITION REQUIRED

Secondary Teacher of Psychology and History

Warwick Academy is looking for an experienced Secondary school teacher to teach Psychology and History to the International Baccalaureate Higher and Standard levels. This position will also include teaching History at the UK National Curriculum Key Stage 3 and I/GCSE levels.

All applicants should hold a relevant undergraduate degree preferably aligned with the subject they will be teaching in addition to a professional teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) at the appropriate school level (Primary or Secondary) and be able to show recent teaching experience in the educational programmes offered at Warwick Academy (UK National Curriculum, IGCSE/GCSE, BTEC and International Baccalaureate; or equivalents).

Applicants must be able to relate positively to students, teaching staff and parents with proven external examination success being an essential component (where applicable). Candidates must also be prepared to contribute to the school’s extensive co-curricular programmes.
