Warwick Academy is an International Baccalaureate World School catering to students from Reception through to Year 13. The school offers an Early Years Programme, the UK National Curriculum from Year 1 to 9, IGCSE/GCSE examinations in Year 10 & 11 and the IB Diploma, IB Individual Subjects and BTEC programme in Year 12 & 13. An enthusiastic, fluent and experienced teacher is sought to teach Spanish throughout the Secondary School to UK National Curriculum Key Stage 3, I/GCSE and International Baccalaureate Higher and Standard levels; and French to UK National Curriculum Key Stage 3 and I/GCSE.
All applicants should hold a relevant undergraduate degree preferably aligned with the subject they will be teaching in addition to a professional teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) at the appropriate school level (Primary or Secondary) and be able to show recent teaching experience in the educational programmes offered at Warwick Academy (UK National Curriculum, IGCSE/GCSE, BTEC and International Baccalaureate; or equivalents). Applicants must be able to relate positively to students, teaching staff and parents with proven external examination success being an essential component. Candidates must also be prepared to contribute to the school’s co-curricular programmes.
