Essential Criteria:
- Current NESA and Working With Children number must be recorded on application.
- Be appropriately qualified as a four year trained secondary teacher.
- Evidence of completion of Anaphylaxis training certificate must be supplied. (https://etraining.allergy.org.au/login/index.php) Note: To start or return to working as a teacher in a NSW school, you must be accredited by NESA.

St Peter’s Maitland is a mixed, non-selective, Catholic secondary school in New South Wales, serving students from the age of 11-16. The secondary school is situated in Maitland, and is part of the multi-campus main school – All Saints College, along with St Mary’s Campus Maintalnd, serving students from the age of 16-18, and St Joseph’s Lochinvar, serving pupils from the age of 11-16.
St Peter’s Maitland was founded as an all-boy school in 1838, and has been at its present site since 1874. The school works closely with the Marist Brothers and the Diocese of Maitland Newcastle.

The school has facilities including a library, science laboratories, modern classrooms, a computer suite and a sports hall.
Curriculum
St Peter’s Maitland offers a varied learning curriculum adhering with the national curriculum while at the same time giving space for individuals to specialise in areas of interest in Year 9 onwards, that will help benefit them for their future. Along with optional modules, which include Indonesian, visual design and dance, pupils also have the opportunity to undertake Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses, which require them to complete a work placement. The school also places a great emphasis on IT training, and has a bring your own device policy, allowing all pupils to learn in class with a computer.
