Job overview
We require an inspirational and passionate individual with good leadership and organisational skills to fill the role of Section Manager for Maths, GCSE and Functional Skills. You would take overall responsibility for co-ordinating GCSE and Functional Skills Maths retake delivery across Uxbridge College at both Uxbridge and Hayes Campuses. You will line manage a team of Maths specialists, including teaching in the subject area.
You will need to possess a relevant degree and an advanced level teaching qualification (PGCE, DET or equivalent), and have teaching experience including experience of delivering Maths at GCSE level successfully in an FE environment. You should be able to lead and motivate the team and have experience of curriculum management.
