An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead and develop the Computing curriculum at Highbury College. Highbury has an excellent reputation in delivering Computing courses, offering courses from L2, L3, HNC/HND and Foundation Degree levels. Highbury Computing students have an excellent record of competing and medalling at WorldSkills UK events for Web Design and IT Infrastructure.
This is a particularly exciting time in the Sector with plans to develop further courses in Cyber Security and Game Programming.
The successful candidate will have:
· A degree in a relevant subject
· A recognised teaching qualification
· Recent experience of teaching a relevant subject
· Experience of effective leadership of learning and teams
· A track record of growing student numbers and improving student retention, success and progression
· Strong programming skills in either C++, Java or Python are desirable
