We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, ambitious and inspirational leader to join a determined and successful team in a unique post in collaboration with Derby City Council.

This post is new and designed to support the Derby City education community in;

·      reducing suspensions and exclusions

·      reducing number of requests for EHCP from schools worked with

·      reducing the number of out of authority placements

·      increasing attendance for schools worked with

·      increasing number of ‘training schools within the city’

·      school evidence greater toolkits through evaluation

This post would suit a passionate and motivated colleague with experience working successfully with pupils with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs to ensure their success.

The successful candidate will be able to engage and enthuse colleagues and professionals across Derby City to develop a city of experts and truly inclusive school communities. Although this is a city wide post, it is hosted at the Kingsmead Collection of Schools, you must believe in our mantra of ‘never give up’ as it underpins our approach to education and underpins our values.
