based at Bramcote College

Fixed Term until August 2023 with a view to extending further subject to funding

32.5 hours per week 8.30am – 3.30pm, Term Time Only + 4 weeks

NJE Grade 5 - Points 15 to 22 - £23,541 to £27,041 FTE

Actual Salary - £22,128 to £25,418

Bramcote College have launched a new SEMH Enhanced Provision for a small cohort of pupils from Bramcote College and local partners. 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed practitioner with experience of working with young people with Social, Emotional, Mental Health difficulties (SEMH). 

The unit will support a maximum of 8 pupils at one time, in Key stage 3 and 4 who need support to re-engage in learning and achieve their best. 

The individual will be able:

  • to build relationships with young people who may feel disengaged from learning
  • to think creatively and work well within a team to develop personalised and rigorous pathways for young people to achieve their best
  • to be committed to enabling and leading on high quality teaching (in conjunction with subject specialists) as well as providing a focus on nurture, social and emotional skills and therapeutic supports
