A confident and ambitious humanities teacher is needed for a Pupil Referral Unit in Northallerton to start as soon as possible. This position is a part time teaching post and in order to be considered you must have experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH). The school has an inclusive philosophy and believes passionately in giving every learner many chances to succeed.  All learners are offered a balance of academic, social and vocational options that provides them with a stepping-stone to the next phase of their educational training. 

The ideal candidate should:  

*Be able to teach Science KS3 and 4 and have experience working with this age group. 

*Have experience working in SEMH.  

*Have a proven track record of consistently adding value to their students in all the schools they have taught. 

*Possess a recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).  

*Be passionate about education with excellent curriculum knowledge, able to motivate and inspire your pupils. 

*All candidates must also hold the Right to Work within the UK in a full time post. P
