We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and who thrives in providing bespoke, flexible approaches to learning.
The successful candidate will support students whose learning is primarily impacted by SEMH needs, ensuring a tailored approach to their curriculum. They will create a positive and structured space where students can thrive and feel supported, while also case managing a group of students struggling with full-time mainstream lessons. This will involve developing individualised plans to increase their attendance and engagement. Additionally, the role will require collaboration with colleagues to plan and deliver interventions aimed at promoting positive mental health and resilience.
