Livingstone Academy Bournemouth is looking for a dedicated and expert Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) Mentor to join our forward-thinking, innovative team. The Role
In this vital position, you will provide tailored individual and small-group support using specialist SEMH interventions. You will be responsible for:
Designing and delivering interventions focused on emotional regulation, social skills, and self-esteem.
Acting as a Mental Health First Aider to recognise signs of crisis and offer initial support.
Helping vulnerable pupils break down barriers to learning by developing their organisation and time management skills.
Maintaining a calm, empathetic response to pupils in distress while upholding high standards of behavior.
The successful candidate must possess expertise/experience in addressing SEMH difficulties to promote pupil independence. You should be a resilient, effective communicator with high levels of integrity and the ability to manage complex cases under the direction of our inclusion leadership.
