Here at Meadstead Primary Academy we have a special and unique learning community that is proud to serve the village of Royston, and surrounding areas. Our staff commute not just from Barnsley, but from Wakefield, Doncaster, Sheffield and beyond.

The children benefit from the academy having a shared ethos of excellent teaching and learning, a keen focus of improving maths, literacy and life skills across the curriculum and a specialised Resourced Provision that is fully inclusive within the Academy. 

As we look to strengthen our  team and move our Academy from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’; we are looking to appoint highly motivated worker to join our happy staff team. This position is fixed term for the duration of the child’s placement at the school. The  commencement date for this post is as soon as possible.
