Bright Futures Educational Trust (BFET) is a partnership of schools based in the North West. We are committed to our vision: ‘The best for everyone, the best from everyone’. Everything that we do is underpinned by our values of community, integrity and passion.  We never forget that we are here in the service of children, families and communities. In order to get the best from our young people we need to invest in our workforce providing opportunities for people to work collaboratively, to share practice, to support and challenge one another, recognising that we are always learning.

We are looking to recruit an experienced EBD/SEN Teacher for our on-site alternative provision, The Bridge. You will be able to manage students, many of which struggle with challenging behaviour and/or have social and emotional difficulties.

You will need to possess qualified teacher status, and be required to lead in a core subject, within The Bridge, our on-site alternative provision building. The pupils who access our alternative provision have a variety of needs that range from EBD, ADHD, ASD and SEMH. These difficulties can manifest into extreme behaviours, so strong behaviour management and innovative techniques are necessary.

If you are passionate about inclusion and committed to achieving the best outcomes for all students, we are looking for two teachers to join our team. One to start as soon as possible and one to start in September 2018.

As an Academy, we are focused on encouraging every student to strive to achieve the very best they can be whilst also rising to the challenge of building on success.

Bright Futures Educational Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure by the Criminal Records Bureau. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

If you want to be a part of our team and join us on our exciting journey, then we look forward to reading your application.  Please return your application no later than 12noon on the closing date stated above. Shortlisted candidates will be sent interview details as soon after the closing date as possible.

This is a fabulous opportunity to join an academy that is a vibrant community, where students feel safe and supported. The school is on an exciting journey. Please feel free to contact us via Chris Barber, HR on 0161 359 3168 or by email cbarber@cma.bfet.uk should you wish for more information about this role.

Application forms and Disclosure of Criminal Background form are to be returned by email to vacancies@cma.bfet.uk
