ABC Teachers are currently looking for an outstanding English Teacher for a Special Educations Needs Secondary school located in Selly Oak. This school caters for students with MLD and ASD who are 11 to 19 years of age, we are ideally looking for a candidate that has experience of working with SEN students. 

Many of the students within this school are working at a lower level, so we are looking for a candidate that can work towards achieving the best out of a variety of students. This role will begin in September and be on an ongoing basis until the end of the academic year, it is likely that this role is going to be four days each week, being Monday through to Thursdays. 

The Ideal candidate – 

· Will have QTS

· Highly creative in a classroom setting 

· Knowledge within the education sector 

· Passion for supporting the learning of children 

· In date DBS & on the Update Service  

Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
