ABC Teachers are currently looking to recruit dedicated SEN Teaching and Learning Support Assistants to work in an excellent Special Educational Needs schools we work closely with in Lichfield, starting in March 2021. 


About the role:

• Supporting students with a wide range of moderate to more severe additional needs

• We have a variety of placements including supply cover, short term and long-term assignments, just let us know what you are looking for

• Working 1:1 and in small groups with students, providing quality support alongside the class teacher


About the school:

• The school caters for secondary aged students, where you will be working across age groups, supporting students with varied SEND, primarily ASD, physical needs, and complex needs.

• You will be surrounded by a positive and supportive staff team, where the needs of the child always come first 


About you:

• Able to build a strong rapport with the students you support, as well as staff you work alongside

• Team player with excellent communication skills

• Essential that you have previous experience working with children and young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities which we can reference 

• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check
