Marden Lodge Primary School is seeking a skilled and passionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated and hardworking team in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils, supporting their individual needs and helping them to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Your opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team with immediate effect. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience working with children with SEN needs, particularly in the EYFS setting.

The successful individual will support the Class Teachers in delivering an engaging curriculum. They will be a talented and professional individual who shares our vision of high aspirations, achievement, and a passion for learning. They will be prepared to work hard, respond positively to the challenges of day-to-day school life, and be a strong team player.

This will be a temporary contract (subject to EHCP funding).

What we are looking for

The successful candidate should:

• Be dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated

• Be able to develop positive relationships with young children

• Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour

• Have experience of working with children with SEN

• Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team

• Be a confident and clear communicator with parents

• Have GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above

Hours: 15hrs per week, 38.6 weeks of the year 8.30am - 11:30am Monday to Friday

Salary: Associate 2 - £22,834 (FTE).

About Marden Lodge Primary School

Welcome to Marden Lodge Primary School, part of GLF Schools. We are an all through primary school with the additional benefit of day care on site which includes full wrap around care, including breakfast and after school provision. The school is situated on a pleasant site on the outskirts of Caterham and integrates all phases of learning.
