Job overview

Are you highly motivated to improve the standard of teaching and learning for pupils and students with SEND? Are you an experienced SENCo or SEND/Inclusion Lead with a desire to improve outcomes for children and young people beyond your school?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team as a SEN Practice and Standards Adviser. This new role, in the Inclusion Special Educational Needs and Disability (ISEND) Service, will support key staff across schools and broaden the capacity in local schools through development and sharing of best practice. This role is also instrumental in achieving the vision and principles set out in key county policies such as the SEND Strategy and Excellence for All.

If you believe you have the interpersonal skills, knowledge and ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, in order to raise standards across East Sussex for pupils with SEND and other vulnerable groups, we want to hear from you.

For an informal discussion, please contact Helen Cottell. Senior Manager SEN Practice and Standards on 0756 520 070.
