Norbridge Academy are looking to appoint a SEN Support Assistant to join our academy in September 2026 on a part time, temporary basis.

Your new role

 

As an SEN Support Assistant, you will provide one to one personal support for pupils with additional needs who are in receipt of an Education Health Care Plan. You will provide special educational and/or medical support to ensure their successful engagement with and access to learning. You will need to maintain professional records and appropriate notes in relation to the individual pupil.

 

Hours: 13 hours per week / Term Time only plus 5 days (39 weeks)

The academy is located in Worksop Nottinghamshire where we have strong links with parents and community leaders. The academy is a larger than averaged sized academy, catering for pupils from the Early Years Foundation Stage, through Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2. There are currently 434 pupils on roll in reception to Year 6 and we also have 52 place nursery.

Holiday Entitlement: minimum 35 days (subject to pro rata if working part-time and dependent upon salary and continuous service) including statutory Bank Holidays.
