About Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School

Sacred Heart is a vibrant and friendly 2 form entry primary school welcoming families from all faiths and none. We pride ourselves on being inclusive and diverse, having 31 languages spoken and celebrating different cultures, faiths and traditions throughout the year. Children are at the heart of what we do and we achieve this through our school motto, ‘learning in love’ and our core gospel values of Faith, Hope and Love.

Our children thrive here in a happy, safe and nurturing environment. Children and staff enjoy their learning and we work closely with parents to create a sharing community where all feel a sense of value and belonging.

Sacred Heart has high expectations for all within our school community and a culture of aspiration, to be the best that we can be. Our children achieve well at Sacred Heart School. We are proud that our children receive a broad and balanced education that promotes excellent academic, personal, social and emotional and spiritual outcomes that prepare them for their next step in life.

As a school we have strengths in RE, Music and PE. We have teachers who are highly skilled in these particular subjects and bring out the very best in our children. We also have a dedicated Spanish teacher. We enjoy a close partnership with our Parish Church, Sacred Heart and the Ursuline High School. Our collaborations enrich both the spiritual life of the school and the learning opportunities for our pupils.

We are a forward-looking school with a strong Governing Body and Leadership Team.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to Sacred Heart.
