ABC Teachers are currently looking for a support worker with SEN experience for a school located in Derby. This school caters for students with MLD, ASD and behavioral difficulties who are 7 to 21 years of age. You will be joining an outstanding school that has a long history of achieving the best from its students.
We are ideally looking for someone that has previously worked within a Special Educational Needs environment and is confident in their ability to support students on a 1:1 basis and with small groups.
The ideal candidate –
· Experience as a support worker within an SEN environment
· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
· Build rapport with the children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service (or willing to complete one)
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced DBS (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
